Olderfjord Turistsenter is a company providing accommodation in B&B rooms, camping cottage and apartments, as well as pitches at the campsite for caravans, campers and tents. The company is located in Olderfjord, a village of 49 inhabitants, in the far north of Norway. Their large souvenir shop provides a wide selection of souvenirs such as woolen sweaters, local food souvenirs, outdoor clothing, and other local handicrafts. Their summer-open restaurant-cafeteria serves both local delicacies and international tastes. 

Their wish is to provide everybody visiting Northern Norway with a superb holiday experience with breathtaking landscapes, friendly locals and sustainable facilities. 

With the First Mile project, they decided to test solutions to improve sustainability in the following areas:
