The Uskovnica mountain hut is located on the vast Uskovnica plateau, above the Upper Bohinj valley in the Julian Alps. The hut, which was built by the Bohinj-Srednja vas Mountain Association and inaugurated on July 10th 1955, underwent massive renovation in 2022. The cottage is open all year round, offering 60 seats in the catering area and 13 beds in 7 rooms with private bathrooms, as well as 17 beds in dorm rooms.
The Uskovnica mountain hut is the proud holder of the Green Key eco-label. Its guests are urged to conserve electricity and water, to protect nature and visit the mountains responsibly.
